Infusion Nurses Society (INS) is an international nonprofit organization representing infusion nurses and other clinicians who are engaged in the specialty practice of infusion therapy, came to existence in 1973.The Infusion Nurses Society in India was formed in December 2010.

ABOUT INFUZE- A quality improvement program in infusion therapy.

Aims to

  • Standardize and implement national intravenous policy and procedure.
  • Support healthcare institutions to adopt best practices and comply to guidelines.
  • Audit & Measure the compliance by reputed auditors from INS India.
  • Reward and recognition of the best adopter(s).

My Journey with INS, India started after achieving the National Winner Award of BD Mastermind Quiz, 2021.My biggest accomplishment as being the 1st INFUZE Coordinator for the NE Region by getting Apollo Excelcare Hospital and Health City Hospital enrolled and INS Certified in 2021 and 2024 respectively, ranking to be the 1st and 2nd INS certified organizations in the NE Region.

Collaborating with all the Nursing leaders of the NE Region and with the tremendous support of INS INDIA and its platinum partners BD and 3M, I have contributed as a Core Committee Member in launching INS NE City Chapter at Guwahati on November 10,2024.The most valuable lessons I learned as an INFUZE coordinator was the importance of clear communication and stakeholder management. I also learned that building strong relationships with key stakeholders is crucial for ensuring the project success and to be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment being comfortable with ambiguity.
